Hope for Homeless Dogs in Supsa, Georgia
We may not have fancy vans or a large team of vets and volunteers, but together we are making an enormous difference. Curious how? Watch the video.
This week, 7 more homeless dogs from Supsa, Georgia, a tiny village of just 247 people, were transported to be spayed and vaccinated before returning to the village, where a local senior helps care for them.
Before Sochi Dogs began working in Supsa, there were no resources to spay, vaccinate, or even feed the village’s homeless dogs. Each year the population grew and the dogs mostly survived on bread.
Thanks to the generosity of this community and the dedication of local rescuers, we’re changing that. Together, we are reducing suffering and helping dogs in some of the most remote places in Georgia!
