Help Loki Walk Again
Yesterday was a big day - Loki got surgery thanks to the awesome supporters of our Ukraine and Vet Fund! Loki’s story is heartbreaking, but there is lot of hope. He was found lying on the side of the road, likely hit by a blast wave. His jaw was broken, and he couldn’t walk.
Loki was rushed to DoctorVet Clinic in Dnipro, where X-rays and blood tests confirmed serious injuries to his spine, but also gave the vets some hope because he still had feeling in his back legs, meaning he was not fully paralyzed.
A decision was made to go ahead with surgery to give Loki a chance to walk again. The surgery was a success, but his recovery will be long, and the vet bills are starting to add up. If you can, consider joining Loki’s rescue team to help him walk again.
