Dusya, Pin, and Mimi at the Warsaw airport this morning!

We are so excited to welcome our first Ukrainian dogs, Dusya, Pin, and Mimi! Today who flew into JFK from Warsaw, after making the long journey from Kyiv to Warsaw. We can’t imagine everything they’ve been through.

Thank you to everyone who made this journey possible, especially our incredible partners in Kyiv who rescued them and an amazing flight volunteer, Tanya.

Two photos of Max

It’s hard to believe that Max was ever tied up on a chain. He is right at home on the couch -- even if he has to share it with a cat (ugh!). Max is in a foster home in NJ waiting for his forever family.

Dusya, Umko and Mimi from Ukraine

In a couple of weeks Dusya, Umko and Mimi have the chance to find forever families in NJ. They have been through so much already: Dusya ran into a bomb shelter to get away from the shelling, Umko was found lost in Irpin, little Mimi hungry and scared was trapped in a yard in Mykolaiv -- today all three are in a temporary shelter and we hope they will be able to come over to NJ at the end of the month.

Little Polly is going home.

Know why Polly Pocket is smiling?? She is on her way to her forever family in the UK.

This girlie spent more than a year in our shelter getting veterinary treatment - first, it was her hips, then a case of mange, then an allergy to a vaccination. We never gave up on her and a few weeks ago she was adopted in the UK with the help of our friends at LAPA UK.
