Sochi Dogs is a trailblazing nonprofit organization committed to rescuing stray dogs through education, adoption, and spay/neuter programs.
It's been exactly a year since we rescued Lulu. While she has been doing very well at the shelter, she has developed sores and an infection in her back legs, which are paralyzed. After consulting with our vet we've made the difficult decision to amputate her back limbs to prevent future infections, give her more mobility, and improve her quality of life. This will require two surgeries and extensive care. Please keep her in your thoughts! We'll keep everyone updated on her progress.
After a scare last week, Vlad is back from the hospital and feeling great. His old crew Daisy and Grey were very excited to welcome him back!

Please send your well wishes to Vlad! He had to be rushed to the vet. Despite being on Nextguard, he has been diagnosed with ehrlichia and pneumonia. Vlad is a very special resident who has been with us since the beginning and we are doing everything we can to help him. Special medication has been overnighted from Moscow and we are hoping for the best!
