My name is Kayta, I’m an old lady but I still got a lot of life and love in me! You won’t believe what happened to me, one day I found myself at a bus stop in the center of the city. I saw all the people get on the bus so I tried to get on the bus too but everyone just kept pushing me back. So I sat and waited.
A nice lady walked by, she gave me a treat and asked what I was doing. I told her that I wanted to get on the bus like everyone else because the people who left me at the station got on the bus too and I wanted to find them. She gave me a couple of pets and then she left. I thought I'd never see her again, but she came back the next day with a car. I showed her that I needed to get on the bus again but she said I could come with her in the car.
We drove around the entire city until we ended up at the original Sochi Dogs shelter.
The lady who picked me up said something about the people who left thinking I was old.
I’m not sure what they were thinking, more than seven years later I’m still loving life! I feel so lucky to have found people who will care for me.
