Meet Bonnie! This super-cute scruffy pup is in search of a loving family. Bonnie was just 3 months old when she was rescued from the small town of Ostrov in Ukraine at the beginning of the war. Sadly, this town was later destroyed by flooding following the collapse of the Kakhovka dam. Bonnie spent a year in a shelter in Ukraine before we were able to bring her to the US for adoption. Currently, she resides in a foster home in NJ, where she's discovering just how wonderful life can be.

Bonnie is a very sweet dog who loves getting pets and going on walks. She gets along well with other friendly dogs and doesn't pay much attention to cats. Bonnie has a calm, gentle, and shy disposition. It will take her time to open up and feel comfortable in new surroundings. We think she'll do better in a suburban setting. She's smart and already knows house rules. She is excellent in the car and doesn't mind baths.

Bonnie is looking for a human with the time and patience to offer, and in return, she promises to be your loyal companion for life. If you believe you have a perfect home for this adorable girl, please fill out our adoption questionnaire and we'll be in touch.
