The war in Ukraine has caused the population of street dogs and cats to grow exponentially. Before baby season starts this spring, we are trying to spay as many animals as possible.
Sochi Dogs and The Dnipro Shelter have partnered with 5 vet clinics to get the job done. Local dog rescuers and community members who take care of street animals abandoned in the war have been lining up for hours to get an appointment.
Sochi Dogs and The Dnipro Shelter have partnered with 5 vet clinics to get the job done. Local dog rescuers and community members who take care of street animals abandoned in the war have been lining up for hours to get an appointment.
Without this initiative, it's likely that each of these animals would have a litter this spring – adding more than 2,000 animals suffering on the street.
