Welcome Max!

Max, our newest rescue was a trooper at the vet today. Max found himself homeless and started hanging out in a neighborhood looking for food. Residents complained and threatened to call an exterminator. Our team promised to take him, as soon as we had space and with two big dogs going home this week, we were able to find a spot for Max. Unfortunately, by the time we got to him he had a big gash on his head, someone had hit him with a pickaxe.

Can you believe that?! Immediately, we rushed Max to the vet to clean out the cut and get stitches. He was such a good boy and now at Sochi Dogs, he'll always be loved and never have to scavenge for food. Please send Max well wishes for a quick recovery.

Update on Carry

Do you remember little Carry who was rescued with several wounds about a month ago? Unfortunately, Carry still cannot put pressure on her leg.

We took her for a follow up visit to the vet today and an X-ray showed that her leg is not broken and she hasn't lost feeling in the led. She needs physical therapy, supplements, and good nutritious food. The vet has hope with time and proper treatment Carry might be able to walk again.

We'll do everything possible to help her walk and play pain-free, but Carry’s recovery can take a long time.
Can you please consider supporting her on this journey and helping Sochi Dogs cover her vet appointments, x-rays, supplements, and physical therapy?

Steve Goes To The Beach

Steve has been a shelter resident for a long time. He is an awesome dog who loves people and going on walks. This week Steve got a huge treat! We took him on a field trip out of the shelter to the beach. Steve loved riding around in the car. He walked on a leash and explored the beach like champ!

While Steve had a blast, for us at Sochi Dogs these excursions are important to help us understand how dogs will behave in different environments. We are confident that Steve will be a terrific family dog! Tell your friends and help him find the perfect home!

Meet Cookie

Cookie is our newest rescue! We found her dodging cars trying to cross the street. She is just 3 months old and blind. We just got news that with some treatment she may be able to see.

Can you help us cover her veterinary expense?
