Extraordinary Stray of the Week
Hi there, I am Tulip! I am an adorable 4 month old German Shepherd mix puppy. I have lots of energy to run around and play. I love to go exploring, but I can be a little timid at first. A squeaky toy or a kong can entertain me for hours! I'm a very fast learner and if you take me to puppy school I promise to be at the top of the class. I'm not aggressive and I don't mind cats. Right now I am in a foster home in NJ with two other dogs and we get along very well. They are a lot of fun to play with and teach me how to be a good pet. I don't need much, just an active family that will love me, play with me and give me yummy treats. I promise to be a loving, loyal companion that will always greet you with a wagging tail. Can you take me home? Check more pictures here and fill out an adoption application.
The population of stray dogs in Sochi grows exponentially every year due to the lack of education about the importance of spaying/neutering and the lack of access to veterinary care in rural communities. Learn how Sochi Dogs is changing the status quo here.
Loving eyes, danger zone
Broken spirit, still alone
Treacherous traffic, tired, worn
Nobody stops, heart is torn
Want to trust, eat a meal
feel a touch, hear my name
winter cold, summer heat
A human friend is all I need.
Pick me up, take care of me,
Renew my spirit, set me free
I am a street dog, lost and cold
Longing for the love –
I promise to return – tenfold.
