Three Paws + Lots of Love.   Say hello to Archie!

Vlada found Archie sleeping on a cold tile floor in an apartment lobby after playing with the neighborhood kids.

She took him home to her apartment. After a warm bath, and a big meal Archie he was ready for belly rubs! He is a Pekingese with three paws and lots of love! Archie spent the day at Vlada's apartment proving himself house-trained, and cat/dog friendly.

Once he is neutered and vaccinated he'll be looking for his forever family!

10 Lucky Dogs  Can you believe it!?

In the past months we've been able to pull 10 abandoned dogs from the streets and into the safety of our shelter! We are still getting to know their unique personalities, but one things is certain they are all very happy and grateful to have a warm place to sleep, good to eat and always seek out our attention for pets + thank yous.

We couldn't do it without you!  We rely on donors to provide food and veterinary care for all the shelter residents.  Donate an item from the wishlist for the new dogs!

As soon as they are vaccinated, spayed, and know their personalities this bunch will be ready to find their forever homes to give more abandoned dogs a chance at a happy life.

Our First 2017 Rescue

Things are turning around in 2017 for these two k-9s. When snowboarding in the mountains outside of Sochi Vlada found these two buddies in a high tourist area often frequented by exterminators. Our Sochi team jumped in to action before anyone could them and Masha and Sasha drove up to bring them to the shelter. They are now safe and they'll never need to worry about any harm. They'll soon be available for adoption!

Kitsune is the Japanese word for fox.

Kitsune is the Japanese word for fox. This loving girl looks like a fox so we named her Kitsune or Kitty for short. When we found Kitty in the bushes she was crying in pain.  Kitty was terrible abused— she had bruises up and down her back and a broken tail.  Our vet said that she was in extreme pain.

All of this is behind her. Her surgery is done, no more pain, no more streets, and no more harm. Kitty is at the shelter, where she safe, loved and fed. And she even managed to make a k-9 friend, Monica.

In spite of everything that was people did to her, Kitty loves people. She is very friendly and affectionate with everyone. In addition to Kitty's vet bill she needs special food, medication, and lots of diapers. We will greatly appreciate if you could make a 3 month commitment to sponsor Kitty's recovery.
